A memorial park to learn about the beauty of a sailing ship and the history of the port of Yokohama Bay. There is a Nippon Maru & Yokohama Port Museum, which I didn’t visit. I did take many photos of the area though.

I bought a ticket at the maritime museum that also included admission to Nippon-Maru and I am glad I did, as it was the perfect day to walk around the deck of the ship. I recommend combining both attractions to better understand Japan's and Yokohama's...More

It's a great place to visit the Nipponmaru. You can walk slowly inside the ship and talk with the captain. You will be able to experience what life is like living inside the vessel. The bunk beds for the crews are so short that one...More

Nice place to walk around, I didn't went onto the Nipponmaru ship, though. I am basically not a fan of metropolises, but Yokohama's central seaside area is more than appealing.

I not visit in the Nipponmaru museum, just took a nice photo from the park. From the ship you can imagine how brave Japanese and how a high degree of seamanship.
