From ground level, this is just another modern -- very modern -- Episcopal church. And we couldn't even go into it, because all entrances were locked. From the outside observation deck on Mount Hakodate, however, the roof of the church shows off its shape, which...More

These old buildings in this area of the city are all worth seeing as they help one appreciate the history of this older part of the city. The architecture of these buildings is very good.

A Christian church in the motormachi area. A modern church building with a roof that makes the shape of a cross if looking from above. Very unique!

There were different churches around Motomachi area. For this Episcopal Church, it was not open to the public and you could only took photos from outside.

Hakodate Episcopal Church is very close to the Russian Orthodox Church. The church is designed in the shape of a cross, it is very easy to recognize it. It was not open to the public so I could only take picture of the exterior.
