Strolled up the slope while on our way to Hakodate Ropeway before dark, and then strolled down again after having a disappointing view on top of Mt Hakodate due to fog. The stroll was easy, present, and the feeling was peaceful especially in the night...More

Scenic slope that is a good stop for photos in the Motomachi area. It is located not far away from Hakodate ropeway station. Get a different feel when viewed in the evening.

So excited to found this place after we exploring around Kanemori redbrick warehouse. This place was so instagrammable for its beautiful houses and architectures. You can check my Instagram : @heyhady , to see my pictures while I was there :).

The street was quiet at night. When I first saw the hachimanzaka, it was stunning, so scenic. I had some of the sweetest memories with my wife strolling down the street with my baby in the stroller. Felt romantic..

It's a peaceful and scenic walk along these streets. Can see some old European styled building and at certain location, can even see the sea.

It’s really like San Francisco’s road but not quite 100% like. Here is some Europe style and Japanese style. Elegant and clean, quite and peaceful. Feeling well walking here!!

In my opinion Hachimanzaka is like a place of pilgrimage regarded by the visitors and feel that their visits would not be completed without a trip there. So here was the scenario I saw around Hachimanzaka last October; taxi drivers and private cars made their...More
