We went twice because there is so little else to do in Kushiro. The place was really deserted and there were some shops and cafes that were closed.

Nice shopping center close to the port and the JR Station . The shopping area offers a mix of local market , small restaurants and souvenir and handicraft shops . There are many administrative and commercial offices on the second floor and at the end...More

It’s a nice walk along the water and Moo is worth a look through. It’s nothing fantastic though so don’t expect much. The walk along the water and over the bridge is what’s to see here.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel just opposite the Fisherman’s Wharf Moo and came here frequently as it is among the limited things to do in the area after the sun sets past 5 PM. It’s basically an enclosed marketplace with extremely friendly locals...More

Visited on a cruise and discovered a high school group interacting with tourist. This was a wonderful experience. We did some Japanese writing, origami, parcel wrapping, kimono dressing and having a singalong. Had a long chat with some seniors who were supervising the youngsters. left...More

This is a ground floor enclosed market place selling all sorts. It has free wifi and a post office with a post bank ATM available. Set right on the wharf and at the end of the main street

My guess is this was built to become a bustling market for seafood, gifts etc, a tourist attraction by the harbor. But although it does have some fresh seafood stands, gift shops and stands with other trinkets, there are hardly any people, much less activity....More

Many years ago that place was en vogue and there were much more shops.... nowadays on one floor only we find just souvenir shops and some small food stalls
