About
A brewery of the sake "Sansha" that has been around for 200 years since the Edo period. At the directly managed stores, you can enjoy paid tasting (450 yen) and seasonal sake (200 yen). There are also plenty of sweets made with sake. You can enjoy Daiginjo Sake soft serve ice cream (mid-March to mid-November), local sake pudding, local sake cheesecake bar, local sake jelly, local sake manju, etc. at the cafe corner. Of course, we also have a large selection of our proud sake, mainly seasonal sake.

Cute sake brewery in old town if you are looking to try different types of sake. It is self-serve and you pay for a tasting and get a cup (and a bag to take it home). There were maybe 10-12 different types of sake you could try for 450 yen, which seemed like a good deal! You can also buy bottles, and I think full glasses if you just want to sit and enjoy it. There was a decent amount of seating. Overall good and cool experience.

Excellent. Daisuko picked us and another couple up at the train station and gave us a very good history of the castle and shrine on the small village- we had no idea. We then had a great tour of Harada brewery by the owner which ended with numerous delicious tasting. Both informative and terrific

Purchased a sake cup for Y300 and you'll be able to sample all the different grades of sake. We requested one with a slight tinge of fruity flavored one. They have a Rice Milk which is unique. You can ask for sampling. Purchased Sake flavored Cheesecake but didn't realize it had such a short validity due to no preservatives. Remember to check. The Sake flavored Beef Curry has got few pieces of potatoes and beef in it. Suggest you add some steam carrots into it because the gravy is really tasty.

My friend loves to drink so we stopped in and for a small price was able to sample from many different Sakes. Their were many others with the same passion and they enjoyed themselves a great deal. If this is something you like their is no better place.

This is a small brewery located in one of the old shops along the takayama old town. Though small it was very interesting for me and my family. One can sample the sake brewed at the shop by paying a small fees. For me who don't drink, they do have snacks produced from sake which I had tried and they were pretty good. There is a fireplace (mock) within the shop for taking nice pictures!

Cool place right in the thick of things. Tons of sake options. We did the taste test where they have you taste 12 different kinds. Well worth the price and a fun experience.

Paid 200 yen for a sake cup that can be brought back as souvenir, and tasted 10 types of sake and 2 shocho (i skipped the shocho). Of the 10 sakes, i thought only 2 were better, but not yet as good as the dassai or 英勲 that i had. The rest i find them average. So i left without making a purchase and headed to the brewery opposite. nevertheless, it was a good experience here!

I didn't think that I liked sake till I tried lemon sake at the Harada Sake Brewery. There are a lot of different sake tasting places in Old Town, but this place was recommended, and it did not disappoint. Great choices and a nice courtyard out back. It is worth the money to get in the cultural spirit!

Apparently some people come here as part of a tour or coupon deal. We just happened to find it on our own while walking through the area. It was not crowded when we came and we tried all the sakes in the tasting case. It was a lot of fun and we really liked getting to compare all the samples.

Today my wife and I visited the Harada Sake Brewery and since I'm a sake fan Iwanted to take part in their tasting, even it was 10 in the morning. Fourteen different sakes awaited me and after having bought this little sake cup (200yen) from the friendly staff the party started. Oh boy what a nice collection they have to try. After waiting patiently my wife left the brewery with two bottles of sake and quite a tipsy me... Highly recommended!
