Come to Livingstone Zambia and view one of the seven natural wonders of the world - the magnificent VICTORIA FALLS. Also known as "Mosi Oa Tunya" - the smoke that thunders - the Victoria Falls is one of the most spectacular sights in the world and...more

Victoria Falls on helicopter is necessary to see the global picture of this amazing place. United Air Charter was very pro, with an excellent pilot and we’ve seen so much things in the air! They come pick you at your lodge and they drive you...More
This ride was incredible!! Take the longest version that you can. The moment we went into the gorge I knew this was a trip of a lifetime! Victoria Falls was overwhelming! Then we flew over the land around the falls and saw herds of animals!!!!...More
Used four airline companies in America: JetBlue, United, Delta Line and Spirit the best amongst the flight companies is JetBlue followed by united, Delta Line and Spirit is the least in terms of convenient, comfort and service. The general challenge I had was delays in...More
We took the 20 minute flight. It was something out of an IMAX movie, diving down into the gorge below the Livingstone Bridge, canyoning via helicopter, then pulling up steeply to re-engage with up-river views and the magnificence of the Victoria Falls.
There were only 3 of us booked in a 6 seat helicopter so each of us should have had a window seat. They put my wife in first next to the pilot then me in back by one of the windows. Before you know it...More
Do the longer flight so that you go through the gorge... amazing way to start the flight. You see the Falls from the left and right although not for that long.. but enough... then if you are really lucky you will see various animals in...More
Recommended by TripAdvisor and Hotel. Pick up was early and very friendly. Pre-flight instruction was through and easily understood. The flight was very smooth, the pilot was very friendly/ informative and positioned the helicopter for both sides to gain fantastic photos.

Great way to get a full view of the river, falls and gorges. There are two choices: the 15 minute tour of the falls and upper river, and the 30 minute tour which also includes the gorges down river. And you fly through the gorges...More

This is just a short note of appreciation for the well received gesture to take us on a helicopter trip through the gorge and The Zambezi River!
This was one if not the best experiences in my life and I am...More

Hi. I think everyone has provided the answers already but we booked through our hotel (The River Club) and paid at the end of our stay. Our flight was at 10:00am which provided us with a good orientation before we saw The Falls on foot from the Zambian side. The front seat is a great experience but you get better photos from the back, especially LHS. You can book directly through the website as well. I agree with the earlier advice, take the longer flight, it will be very worthwhile!
Enjoy your holiday!

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. We were there in May when the river was very high so lots of water and mist. The river drops slowly from then so probably less mist now. We could not see the bottom of the main gorge from the air or even standing close to it. The mist does not make much difference to the overall experience and view. The helicopter goes around and over the gorges so passengers on both sides get a good view and able to take photos. The person in the middle, if there are four, can still see but harder to take photos. The time of day at this time of year won't matter. You might like to avoid the heat or time it with possible spotting of animals wandering around the park. I think we went at 1pm.
