This is spectacular and a must see if you are able. The trails start behind the Avani Hotel right before you enter Zimbabwe. Everything is clearly marked and VERY slippery when wet. Be careful and enjoy!

When we visited, the falls were in full flood due to recent rains, and they are truly a wonder of the world. The awe inspiring volume (both of water and sound) has to be experienced to be believed. If you're reasonably fit, a trek down to the Boiling Pot is recommended.

Be prepared to get wet but be blown away. Pretty unbelievable sight to see and learning about its history. Little shops nearby so plan some time to go to those.

An amazing experience - got absolutely soaked! Took a plastic bag for my wallet and cell phone. Took my t-shirt off and put in there too so when we were finished I had a dry shirt. Wear swimming trunks and flip flops. Doing the walk down to the boiling pot is worth it. Also head up the path upstream for... More

A lot of water this time of the year. We couldn' t see the width (1700m) and depth ( 100m) of the waterfall. We were absolutely soaked despite the raincoat. Take a walk on the bridge to Zimbabwe for another wiev. Passport needed.

An unbelievable, beautiful, must-see place! We visited in mid April, ie, at the end of the rainy season. Which means that the water was high and we could not do rafting or swimming in the Devil's Pool - it's simply too dangerous. Rainy season also means you see a lot of white mist and spray - it's very difficult to... More

April is maybe not the best month to visit the falls because too much water and difficult to see the falls. It is nevertless a great experience, highly recommended.

A once in a lifetime experience. I never imaged the falls would be that big. millions of gallons of water going over the falls. If you walk over the bridge, be prepared to get soaked!! It did feel good as it was about 32 degrees. One tip, don't leave your car door open and walk to the back of your... More
