This historic swing bridge connects the town of Carmelo to the river parkland and beaches plus resort hotels. If you are lucky you might catch it when it is in action mostly in the summer months.

We arrived from Tigre near Buenos Aires by boat and this was our first site in Uruguay. The bridge looks nice, but is nothing very special.
