This tour was the highlight of our visit to UAE. It turned out that we were the only ones on the tour and one of the attractions was closed being a Monday but our guide Oliver and our driver Omadd gave us their undivided attention...More

I wish i had no expectations coming to this place but my friend had it in her mind that we would be sitting amongst the trees, within the greenery and cooling off in its shade...nope! All the lovey trees are on either side of this...More

Two hours drive inland into the UAE desert from Dubai. Stunning desert as you progress to arrive at this dry architectural landscape city set on and ancient oasis. In the raining season the locals bring out their 4 wheel drives and sand dune surf. Bizarre...More

Spent a few hours visiting the Oasis. It's interesting and beautiful at the same time. With all the date palm trees, the ancient waterway, the birds singing - it was well worthwhile going. The guide explained all as we toured on the cart. Can also...More

Despite the heat, we enjoyed seeing the falaj aqueduct system first-hand and escaping into the lush oasis.

The Oasis is really interesting and it was neat to see how thousands of years ago they were able to care for and irigate even though in the desert

Away from the mall culture, in the midst of desert lies this rather beautiful oasis with large trees and nice canal system. You could hop for a electric cart ride for 20 AED PER HEAD or rent a bike for 30 AED.
