A good day out and there's bargains to be had if you're prepared to haggle! A bit of a downside is most shops are the same and there's a lot more genuine fakes than anything traditionally Turkish.

I expected a big spices bazar like the one in Istanbul. The Egyptian bazar in Marmaris is just one shop where you can buy spices, aromatic teas and sweets.

This Bazaar is situated opposite the marina & is a laberinth of alleys that you can access or leave from several different points. You can wander around, the minute you show the slightest interest in anything within a shop, the owner is out trying all...More

The Baazar in Marmaris is made up of several different covered streets with different coloured arches to differentiate one from the other. It's a bit 80's in appearance and could do with a bit of a makeover, but shops are the same pretty much everywhere...More
