We stopped for a couple hours to explore this hidden gem. Talk about a step into the past. It was incredibly interesting to learn about Yörük village and the history of life there. After wandering around the village and admiring the houses, we met several...More

The size and architecture of the beautiful large old houses give a clue about the welfare of the former residents of this village. Try to listen to the history of the village from a resident.

Beautiful village! The streets, the houses take you centuries back. Enjoyed walking around and sitting at the quaint place near the mosque. Delicious homemade baklava and gozleme.

An Ottoman village nearby of Safranbolu. Very calm place. This village is like a open air museum. You can visit some houses.

We visited at the very start of the season. We were the only tourists there and not everywhere was open. But it was spellbinding. The architecture is amazing and the bucolic feel of the place is intoxicating. Quick and easy from Safranbolu. Well worth the...More
