We love slow strolls along sea fronts so the Kordonboyu was perfect for us. It was about 11pm and we'd been at the beach all day so we were really looking forward to a nice meal and a beer. After that we smoked a bit...More

It is one of the most popular streets of Izmir. Full of little restaurants and cafes. The guys in the shops and cafes are almost forcing you to sit their place. Service is too slow and in most cases they serve the wrong foods. It...More

We enjoyed looking walking up and down the promenade and looking at the views and took a boat to Karayaskar. Got some pictures of the sunset. This was way better than galata bridge in Istanbul. The views are better at night time.

Our hotel was on the seawall of the harbor, and the Kordonboyu was perfect for our evening walks. Restaurants and bars abound, and we had dinner every night at one of the seaside cafes. Sunset was a particularly lovely time.

Well, I like the sea, and this was a very nice stroll where you will find fishermen and people walking around. At sunset there were many people just having some snacks and drinks, like evening picnics. I really liked this promenade.

This is the best time for "KORDONBOYU", the weather is temperate, you can sit and watch the view, in the evening even at night you can see talk and drink beer with young peoples, enjoy...

It gets alive in the evening. The night view is cool, you get to see the other side illuminated. Youth usually sits on the grass in groups chatting, singing etc.

Probably the place I have been to, to have a walk any time of the day. You have everything you need during your time along the sea side and time of the day and week.

If you want to exercise or stroll it’s a great place to do so. Early morning training is recommended when the city is still sleeping. During the summer days it’s quite refreshing if there is a breeze. Great at night with street food and a...More

Part of the city - you can not come to Izmir and not go to Kordon Boyu for a drink at the sunset and a walk by the sea. It never gets old - always a beautiful scene sunset or sunrise
