The free City Museum was a charming, nostalgic surprise. Housed in an old Art Deco fire station, it is neither big nor extensive and it does not really aim to provide a comprehensive history of Smyrna/Izmir, but it does a good job of exploring one...More

If you are in the area it's worth a quick visit to this city museum. It is basically a showcase of a few older cars, models of buses and trams and other city memorabilia. Unfortunately, there are no descriptions in English.

You can find anything what you expect from a museum!!! That's why, I suggest to everyone to see it. Of course, if you come to Izmir for 2-3 days. It wont worth to see it!
