The castle has been rebuilt and now is hosting a Museum. The restauration has been done very well and the panorama on the ancient walls is amazing.

The castle is very interesting, a must-see if you go to Cesme since the rest of the town isn't that interesting. You can have a walk on the inside and on the top for some amazing views of the city and fortress.

Must see attraction in the centre of Çeşme. Only 8 liras, no photo restrictions, no dress code. Great museum and even better view. Careful with small children, there are some unguarded steps and gaps. Definitely worth a visit.

I managed to get some amazing photos here. It was just stunning even though it was extremely hot. Have a designated photo friend or ask people to take a pic... Selfie sticks are useless.

We took great pictures of the surrounding views from here of the town and Greek island across the water. Liked the lion statue in front.
