If you visit Bergama you should not miss to step in the shop of Naoe. You can find it in the covered bazaar! Yakup and Naoe are wonderful and we felt very very welcome! Naoe sells for example beautiful hand woven towels and blankets of fantastic quality. Also the price is very reasonable! We had a great time and big laughter with both of them and Yakup helped us a lot with our further travel plans, since he knows a lot about Bergama and it’s wonderful sites you should not miss. Someday we will come back!

We visited the shop with our family as we were looking for nice towels and could not find any in some of the bazars in our vacation town elsewhere. The owners are so nice and welcoming, and the quality is absolutely great and reasonable priced. We would definetely recommend this to everyone visiting the region and I hope we are able to visit the shop on our next vacation.

I was in Bergama for two nights and I had the chance to meet Yakub and His lovely wife Naoe.
Their shop is located in the Kapalı Çarşi (covered market) of the city, that worth to be seen since it is an old historycal building recently restored, although the opened shop are few.
The quality of the product they sell is very good, the prices absolutely reasonable.
But the reason why you should visit it is because of the unbelievable Yakub and the sweet Naoe, the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They gave me great advices about everything and they set me at ease and made me feel welcome and at home.
They know very well Bergama and can advice about where to stay, where to eat, what you must see etc.
You should not miss their shop, you will not regret!

Sen Naoe has beautiful scarves and hammam towels. They are a completely different quality to the usual shops. This delightful lady knows her textiles and you can be sure you are buying the real thing. She is very conscientious and both she and her charming Turkish husband provide really valuable local information. Do visit when in Bergama.

This modest shop in the Grand Bazaar in really worth a visit, even if only to look around. We found the owner (from Japan) very knowledgeable on Turkish goods and she explained the various quality levels, manufacturing processes, etc. so we knew what we were looking at without all the sales pressure. We enjoyed our experience so much, we purchased a few gifts to take home in Bergama avoiding all the hassles with merchants (and rip off prices) you have to sometimes face in Istanbul. Keep up the great service!

We accidentially got to know about Naome's shop in the Covered Basar in Bergama. And we are grateful to be recommended a visit. Naome offers a huge variety of well chosen textiles and can pick out the suitable one for different purposes.

It was my pleasure to get to know Naoe and Yakup. You will find how warmly they welcome you at their shop. You can find the best made-in-Turkey textile products for decent - and fixed - price. You don’t have to be bothered for any bargain. It is no necessary here. But you can touch and enjoy the quality of their products. Also, the Turkish coffee here is the best.
But more than anything else, you will be able to listen to their stories, which reminded me of ‘One Thousand and One Nights.’ Truly, it was amazing time, or rather say something magical.

I wish you all find time to spare in Bergama to have precious time being with Naoe and Yakup.
