Wonderful scenery, history and beach. Best time to visit is April, May, September and October. In June, July and August, it is very hot and crowded. 2 days are enough to visit historical places of it, more days is necessary for a beach holiday.

There are 2 castle. I tried to share landside castle. Next to the castle there are antic port ruin and sea torch ruin. Kizkalesi used for olive and olive oil transfer point via shipment by romen empire.

Corycos, the historical name of Kizkalesi, is one of the main historical cities of the area, called Cilicia. Cilicia became an official province of the Roman Empire in 72 AD and gained more importance and prosperity.
