The water fall is really beautiful and big, I would recommend you take a change of clothes with you as well as a water proof phone. Swimming is allowed so you can take a swimming suit however make sure it is conservative and not too...More

Nothing special. A curtain of water. What makes it unusual is the desert landscape around. If you drive by, stop. Otherwise don't make it a special trip.

Tortum is one the biggest waterfall in Turkey. If you are around Erzurum it is really worth to travel here. Me and my other crazy friends even swam in small lake around :D . No fee to enter.

But once you've been to Niagara falls, this looks like a joke. If you want to see a good waterfall in Turkey, go to the ones down south.

This waterfall is definitely worth visiting if you are driving past to Erzurum. You don't have to walk far, it is fed by a sedate river above, caused by a fault. It is a nice wide waterfall. The environment is not very well maintained, rubbish...More
