The theatre is well preserved and most definitley worth a visit. It is breathtaking to stand at the top and imagine what it would have been like in the past and even more so when making your way down to the stage.

We spent so much time taking in the springs with the white calcium formations that my wife did not even make the walk up the hill to see this magnificent structure. Be sure you don't miss it.

What a Wonderfull place. You can breed the history there. Just close your eyes and go back to the time there was lots off people and their only entertainment that time. We were pleased with our trip there Highly recommend it.

So easy to walk from Travertine Terraces. Nice 2 min stroll up the hill close to Cleopatra Pool. Wonder back down and reward yourself with an ice cream before wandering further around Hierapolis or more pics of Terraces.

Best time will be spring most probably. Bodrum is 3 hrs drive. 1 day with a guide is ok. You have to read some historical info before you come. If you rent a car Dedeman hotel is out of the city Denizli. We stayed there.
