Amazing underrated site in Pamukkale. Not many people venture up here so it's a lot more peaceful than the chaos of the Cleopatra pools below. The scale of this site is massive. The views are incredible. Definitely worth the short walk

A must be seen ampitheatre. The best ampitheatre I've ever seen and I have seen many. So preserved it was as if I had been transformed to Roman times

This is the first of several theatres we saw in Turkey. It was worth the climb up the hill to see the beauty inside what appeared to be a dilapidated building.

Best time will be spring most probably. Bodrum is 3 hrs drive. 1 day with a guide is ok. You have to read some historical info before you come. If you rent a car Dedeman hotel is out of the city Denizli. We stayed there.
