I was here part of the Green tour. The Uchisar Pigeon Valley is just in front of Onyx Factory. We were allowed a 30 minutes stop here. Stunning views but get here before 10 am to avoid tour crowds.

A sight to see and to imagine so many pigeons in one valley where their droppings are used as fertilizer.

Great place to stop and admire the natural beauty. Be sure to bring your camera as the sunlight will offer ever changing colors of the landscape throughout the day.

The view from the op down into Pigeon valley seems like you are in a different planet. The effects of wind and sand erosion of the rocks over millions of years is intriguing. Nice stop for a chai and conversation.

Very unusual light and a spectacular viewing point of Goreme and its fairy towers. Sunset was eerie.

Rug up, take plenty of fluids plus good hiking boots and then enjoy the walk. From Goreme it is a 3 or 4 hour trek.

It is a circle walk from Goreme to Uchisar then from Uchisar through White and Love Valley then back along road to Goreme, it took us about 3 hrs total and that included getting lost a few times in the Pigeon Valley. The... More
