There is an additional 15 Lira to visit this church and is a little bit of a climb to reach. But is worth the visit. The frescos of Jesus and other saints is amazing. Takes you back 2000 years!

This is inside the national park . The frescoes are in very good condition but you cannot take pictures. The best is to by all turkey museum pass , it is very convenient and doesn’t pinch you while paying all the time . Your time...More

Bought as part of the open museum ticket and just down the road the church is incredible. Beautifully painted throughout - it’s such an interesting place.

You need to pay 2 GBP as an extra ticket into the Goreme open air museum, but it worths every penny. In this church you can see the best preserved paintings of the very first Christians
