If you did not see such a converted church, you could go and see, its interesting. No christianity pictures on the walls, no objects of course.

This is so clearly a Greek Orthodox Church converted into a Mosque. As such it synonymous with the surrounding character of the neighbourhood. Very eye catching and only a short walk central Ayvalik

Saatli Camii (Clocktower Mosque)— In the town centre, built by Greeks as a church - converted to a mosque after 1928. Very atmospheric - beautiful building - courtyard. Not to be missed. Note also old houses and small artisan shops along the way.

This is obviously a church converted to a mosque. You can still feel how two religions can live together. It feels good.
