It’s no surprise that Yildiz Boat trips are the number 1 thing to do in Kalkan. It was a relaxing, fun day with excellent service and food. The boat was spotlessly clean and the family so welcoming. They work so hard to make your day...More
Osman and his wife are most welcoming on his lovely boat. Everywhere is spotlessly clean on board. Very comfy loungers to relax on. Stopped at 4/5 places to drop anchor and swim in the beautiful sea. Food provided all day. The lunch was amazing. How...More

In short the answer is yes. There or only 2 bays you anchor near and they aren’t sandy beaches to explore in honesty but more rocky coves. There are shady beds/ seated areas on the boats to lay in/relax/ read. But the only way off the boats mid trip are the rung ladders/ to jump in.
Why not look into a boat trip round Kekova (sunken city) as this does dock at simenia, you can walk around there. There’s a castle and some shack shops. I would advise looking for a smaller boat that will do this rather than the huge boats as they’re overcrowded and a bit like cattle wagons from experience.
