The long beach looks beautiful but the water has a lot of plastic. The Thai food in the area is a little bland and the sand is too firm to lie on. But lovely for long walks and paddles

Unobstructed horizon line, watching the locals go about their business, and above all, checking out the starry sky at night, are a few things that make this beach pleasant.

I have previously reviewed Mae Ramphueng Beach and criticised local authorities for allowing the beach to be turned into a garbage dump, with bottles, plastic, polystyrene, and the detritus from fishing boats littering the beach from one end to the other. Then inexplicably the beach...More

I have loved here on the beach for 5 years. Lots of seasonal people along with the Thais. Music everywhere and many bars and good food. Must recommend for a fun weekend. Many places to stay and even rent motorbikes. Lots to do and see....More

When we arrived for our holiday we were stunned by the beautiful beach and crystal clear water. Safe for the kids aged 7 and 4 as the water remained shallow for quite a long way. The beach reastaurants to our European eye looked scruffy and...More

This beach gave me a strange feeling. Nothing wrong with it ,so it just makes you wonder we're all the people are. Just a handful of people and all the locals looking at you and wondering what you are doing there.

I previously have written several reviews of Mae Ram Phueng Beach, and invariably I have been highly critical of the appalling pollution and piles of rubbish, flotsam, and detritus from Rayong's thriving fishing industry, that accumulates along the beach, sometimes in piles a couple of...More

Took the family there during a weekday. It was uncrowded, quiet and relaxing. The trees on the beach were nice and provided some shade. They have tables and umbrellas for you to rent.
