This temple may not be traditional, but it is beautiful and full of amazing art! It's worth it to pay to go inside even though you can't take photos. The artwork inside is surprising (with paintings including Neo and others from movies), but it all...More

Amazing design, construction, and very artistic! A bit crowded because it is one of the major attractions in Chiang Rai, but it's worth your tourist time. Many food vendors around the area, so great place to just hang out too. Check it out if you're...More

My main objective to Chiang Rai was to view the stunning artwork in the area. One can see how beautiful the buildings and sculptures are when you approach this place and you can feel that the white colour is unleashing its power under the glittering...More

The inside and outside of this temple tell fantastic stories: definitely worth going inside to look at the painting on the walls: it's absolutely beautiful. Worth going with a tour guide or someone who can explain it all I think. It was very busy, but...More

Took a bus ride from Terminal 1 for 20 baht to Wat Rong Khun. Entrance to the White Temple was 50 baht (for foreigners). Lots of people by 11am and quite warm. If timing allowed I would have loved to visit right at the opening...More

The white temple is not to be missed when travelling through Chiang Rai. The building was beautiful and our guide gave excellent explanations and history behind all the buildings. The only thing I hated about the place was the chinese tourists. Too many of them!

Didn’t like it, you have a feeling you are in a Disneyland not in a temple, wasting of time and money

To enter the temple you must have shoulders and knees covered. Although it is privately owned it is respected as a sacred place.

It also depends on the weather. If it is raining in that evening, then maybe the place closes earlier.
