We had a private safari tour in national parks Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The organisation of the tour as well as the tour itself was smooth, the staff was friendly and flexible. Our tourguide Emmanuel had a lot of knowledge about the nature and we had a very good time - most importantly, we saw many animals (including the Big 5). It was a lifetime experience! We recommend Peace Matunda Tours due to their professionalism and reliability. Moreover, part of the price goes to support schools and education, what we really liked about the company.

Our family stayed at PeaceMatunda orphanage for 2 days before going for the ascension of Mt.Meru. Kids were just amazing and Kaaya gave us the opportunity to exchange with kids during school, lunch, after school activities and dinner. What a great immersion experience! After, we left for the 3 days hiking tour with our guides Abdul and Lema that guided us through this demanding trek but so rewarding when we reached the summit at sunrise with the incredible view on the Kilimanjaro. Thanks to the entire crew who made this experience fantastic! Guy, Julie, Émile, Thomas and Félix

Detailed organization of the safari, the company changed the standard route according to our ideas! We had a big auto (but without ac), very spacious tent and comfortable beds. The guide was very helpful and always ready to give us advice and informations! The packed lunch were ok, the cooked food at the camps quite good! We spent one full day at the school and orphanage, we had a cooking lesson and a small trekking, very interesting cultural activities and the kids were very nice and funny, they teach us some swahili too! Highly recommend!

I have taken my four kids (ages 13, 12, 8, 6) around the world and our time with Peace Mutanda is a top three experience. 4 parks in 7 days. We had a National Geographic moment in the Ngorongoro Crater – five male lions, 15 hyenas, 30-40 buffalo, a crowd of zebra and one unlucky baby buffalo for one hour plus. We saw the big five. Tracked lions. Hung with feasting baby cheetahs – the first truck there. Danced with Maasi. Bow hunted with the Hazabe. (You MUST do this – right out of your Social Studies text book.) While we were promised Joshua, our guide and cook did not disappoint. All the trucks, meals and accommodations are EXACTLY the same in the camping price-point… and Peace Mutanda is for a good cause with experienced guides sharing an amazing safari experience. We found more and did not just rely on the herds of trucks. Kaaya is organized and his family is lovely. And while we were so impressed with our safari… my kids’ highlight was calling Peace Matunda Orphanage home for four nights. They played and played. They taught their favorite games – kickball was a highlight – and learned new ones, eight squares and a rock. My daughter introduced puzzles to the kids. They must have done the half-a-dozen puzzles we brought a dozen times. They hiked through town to a waterfall. My kids went to school and did the digestive system and Roman numerals homework. They did chores, including, taking down and clearing two huge trees. We valued family dinner. My kids gained 27 new friends. Highly, highly recommend Peace Mutanda.

We did a 4 night 5 day safari with Peace Matunda covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. What can i say, it was special. Our guide Eli was very knowledgeable, so much information about all the animals, but on top of this he would tell us about the trees/plants, tribes and Tanzania as a whole. We saw the Big 5 plus much more, unforgettable experience! Damian Our Chef cooked nice food every day for us to return to, even though one of us is a vegetarian with a nut allergy and the other is not he cooked meals to accomodate us both, the starter of popcorn was a favourite. The tent is very comfortable, the beds have mattresses, for a camping safari you couldnt ask for more. Before and After the Safari we stayed at Peace Matunda. Kaaya and Martha are very friendly, they made our stay very comfortable. The Children are amazing, just a joy to be around, we played football, drew pictures, made bracelets, completed puzzles. Its nice to see them happy, taking care of each other and enjoying their education. We would have stayed for longer if we hadn't already had flights arranged. We hope to return again in the future for sure!
