As the Haenyeo is unique to Jeju, this museum is dedicated to them and their story. I found it very informative, interesting and of great value to understand the traditions of the island and the long association of these incredible women. Quality displays in Korean...More

This was a terrific little museum. Excellent, helpful staff. Fantastic introductory film that they played in English for us, and top class exhibits. We came away with a deep admiration for the women divers of Jeju, they are tough, proud and awesome achievers :)

Both the museum and the story that it tells are excellent. The women divers are a remarkable group of Jeju people and this museum is a just tribute to them. It is very well organised and set out and we learned so much!
