The UN Cemetery Busan is a beatiful yet solemn reminder of the sacrifice made by the international forces fighting to save Korea from invasion during the Korean war. The grounds are beautiful yet small enough to be easily navigable. The memorial with the names of...More

Went there out of curiosity on an occasionally day off from work. A nice and peaceful place honoring the casualties and participants in the Korean war. A place to seek silence and to have some afterthoughts of the cruelty of war.

Cemetery to UN forces that fought in the Korean war. In a pleasant garden setting. I cycled there from the port, though I would not recommend doing this to anyone. Distance is about 10 km. The problem is that the cycling infrastructure is qualitatively of...More

This cemetery beautifully maintained honoring our deceased heroes of the UN forces. Start your tour with the 15-minute documentary on the Korean War at Memorial Service Hall with splendid stained glass and soft interior lighting.

This cemetary has so many beautiful monuments and the grounds are amazing. Pristine condition. There is a short video in the chapel, well worth a look. I loved this place and found is so interesting.

This is a beautiful memorial with tributes to over 22 nations. The columns of the entrance depict tears of fallen soldiers. I highly recommend watching the video in the chapel before entering the memorial. There are Korean and English versions, which show strength in unity.

The cemetery is near Busan museum. There are signs ,,Silent, please" everywhere and there was flag ceremony arround dive PM. It's visible that South Korea appritiates a lot UN help in Korean war!

It was raining when we visited, and it added to the somber and melancholy feel of the place. Make sure you visit the chapel and watch the movie first.

looked like bus might be a better option. but if you don't have much time taxi would be good. we got a taxi from Jagalchi market. cost us less than $10 one way. ($7~8?)
