Did not see any signage it where maps showed. Thought it was across the street, but that was St. Joseph chapel. The guard at St Joseph said it had been closed since the Centre closed for Covid.

The Centre International Marie de Nazareth was first opened in 2011 by Leaders of Church Authority, as an instrument of Marian devotion as well as a Chapel of Unity for fostering growth in relationship with the Roman Catholic Church. Until 2020 it was administrated by Mixed Lay, Married and Single Religious institute of Consecreated Life. Since then the Franciscan Custody has made use of the Kitchen and Refectory and a Lay group of Missionaries Canno Nova, have made their home in the apartments and Offices. Canno Nova works as the Christian Media Center for the Bascilia of the Most Holy Annunciation.
Having arrived July 8, 2021, I was asked mantain the flowering gardens on each of the five levels of the Center. I had the task of catching up with main work of repairing the damage done by two years of neglect, with no budget, only good will to help. I can say the the Center is functioning and could be brought on line with the the help of God!

This is a lovely spot smack in the middle of the historic center of Nazareth. The archaeological excavations from the 1st century are very interesting, but it's really the rooftop panoramic views that make this a special place. Very friendly staff too!

We arrived early afternoon and were only six people in total so we got a very personal welcoming and introduction to the place.
The multi media experience was excellent and educational and the view from the roof top terrace was amazing.

We came here with our kids to start the day, and we especially enjoyed the multimedia show describing Mary’s life and faith. Very good execution, we definitely recommend !

For a donation of your choosing, here you can enjoy an archeological excavation, a multimedia movie (although I skipped it), a rooftop view of Nazareth, a beautiful modern chapel with stunning iconography, a perfect little gift shop, a cafe, and a warm and friendly welcome from the sister and the staff.
It’s not a holy site, per se, but it is in the neighborhood, and it’s much less likely to be crowded, offering ample room for reflection and prayer.

On June 24, 2019, we were lucky to visit Nazareth, in the city in which Jesus Christ spent 30 years. We are in the international ecumenical center of the Virgin Mary. It is located in the very center of the city near the Catholic Basilica of the Annunciation.
Inside the center you can see the excavations of an ancient house from the time of Jesus Christ.
Then we watched a multimedia show (with transitions to different rooms) about the life of Mary and Jesus.
And immediately plunged into the atmosphere of Nazareth 1st century AD.
The center itself is built so that in addition to excavations and a movie, you can walk around the picturesque roof garden and see the panorama of Nazareth, in the palm of your hand, you can pray in a small and quiet temple, you can have a bite to eat, drink coffee and buy souvenirs.
The attendants showed a high level of culture and courtesy.
We recommend everyone to visit this oasis of faith and silence.

Great presentation using multimedia to explore the life of Mary as presented through biblical passages. There is also the remains of a first-century house within the center, and I know of nothing else like this in Nazareth.
