This place is certainly recommended for spice lovers! The service was very good and the hospitality wonderful! We got explanations and some hot ground coffee as well as some lentil soup to drink as it was cold and raining outside. The enterance was difficult to find but it was worth the effort.

This old mill turned spice shop is a place you want to visit while in Nazareth.
The wealth of spices and herbs will turn your head dizzy.
Even if you wan't buy anything (and the chances of that are slim..) you'll enjoy the colors and smells.

A visit to Nazareth must necessarily include a stop at Elbabour Galilee Mill, on Al-Bishara street. After entering the door, you go down a few steps and you are in Spice Paradise! Fresh spices, nuts, grains, dried fruits and tras are placed in big jars and bags in the main room. You also find kitchen utensils, candies, oils and other goods in another room. The absolute must in that Ali Baba cavern is a mix of spices perfected by the owner’s mother; it is called Pierina’s Spice, the recipe is absolutely secret and it is apparently perfect to season meats, stews and soups. I will try it as soon as I get back home!

This 250 years-old building, 150 years-old store has passed through many generations is a MUST! when you visit Nazareth and Israel. We can find amazing high-quality ingredient and tea with very reasonable price! The atmosphere also bring us to ancient time. Love the store, love the tea!

Elbabour Galilee Mill is a wonderful place to visit and purchase spices. The owners are very friendly and helpful to help you find just what you need. The spices are delightful. I've now cooked with most of what I bought. One thing i love is the tea mix. Wonderful!!!

This spice shop is located in the old city of Nazareth and located adjacent to the market area. The entrance to shop is less viewable from the main streets (it has two entrances), but obce inside it becomes very interesting. The shop is constituted from four main rooms in different floor levels. The nice thing about this shop is that it combines current products and some spice related history. You may see the current spices mill and the dried leaves next to it, and on the other hand an exhibition of the old mill, as well as some other exhibits. There's a nice touch to this place.
The staff is very kind and helpful. They offered us with some coffee and a taste of local produced yogurt. The prices are moderate and affordable.
Recommend it to be part of your tour in Nazareth.
