I would not make this a destination but if you are nearby, stop by. There is not much to see. When the tour guides talk about three levels, it is three tiers, not a building that is three stories tall.

A nice temple complex to have a short visit of about an hour when you are nearby. Not big en special enough to drive a long way to visit.

One of the strangest things ever was feeding the holy eel!! No idea what the guide was speaking about so whole experience utterly fascinating. Holy man breaks cooked egg and tries to lure eel out. It came out for us and was really special.

It is a little bit outside of Mataram and therefore not very easy accessible. You can take a bemo there but you have to change several times depending where you are travelling from. Getting back to the city centre is a bit more difficult then...More
