Went to Mawun beach with the idea to stay for a few hours and ended up leaving after 20 minutes. There was SO much trash on the beach and the currents were so strong that you can only swim down the very end of the...More

The beach is quite but there are lots of seller in the area. It’s tranquil and nice and you can enjoy coconut and other drinks. The admission fee per car is IDR 10K. However I prefer a more secluded beach and nicer, Tampah Beach which...More

Nice, fairly clean white sands and calm waters. Lots of hawkers but if you get far enough away they tend to not come over Surfing at the mouth of the bay! Great place

We had a great time chilling in Mawun Beach. The place not too crowded but view is stunning. White sand turquoise waters surrounding. We like Mawun Beach more compare to Sarong Beranak bay as we are not surfers Xdxd..

The beach and backdrop is stunning, however what put us off was the amount of rubbish on the beach, it was truly horrendous. We also got the feeling that the rubbish had built up over time, which was a shame as it a lovely spot.
