Performed a jumaah solat there and was amazed with the architecture and influence from mogul and arabic crafts to the interior, dome and tiles. Definately a holy place that provide serenity and calmness..

The mosque of King (Sultan) Deli went to pray with his people, located in center of Medan busiest district, where foreigner can catch the pulse of "Ini Medan, Bung!" at it's best. And don't forget the culinary sorrounding it.

It's worth walking around. We did not go inside as people were praying and we did not want to disturb them.

I do love this Medan’s iconic Mosque, very clean, neat and peaceful place for praying. I have also noticed that they have just placed the new carpet. Great Mosque!
