It is a very impressive mansion with an interesting insight the live of a tycoon family during the time of colonialism. Unfortunately the exhibition with only very few informative texts omits the inhuman working conditions of the workers on which this wealth was built.

It will be great if they can install air-conditioning systems in the mansion. We would have spent more time if not because of the humidity inside.

I had four times visited this mansion and I always enjoy it. The tour guide from this mansion can tell us the detail story of Tjong A Fie. From the story, from this place, I adore him very much.
