Very interesting to listen to the music and watch the graceful dancing. There was a bit where some kids were cajoled on stage. Bit cheesy but well meaning i guess! Just wish i knew a bit more about what was going on!

Already having known the story of the Mahabharatha Epic, we believed we would enjoy the dance portrayal or at least catch a glimpse of the story. However in spite of the elaborate costumes and well coordinated movements of the dancers, there was no story whatsoever....More

I have seen a few Balinese dance shows in Ubud, the best one is at PELIATAN BALERUNG STAGE, performed on every Friday 7:30pm. Arrive 30 min earlier to secure better seats. After watching this show, you wouldn't be interested to watch at other places anymore....More

Since it was raining the event was moved from the palace to a venue across the street, which was disappointing. Nevertheless we enjoyed the performance. The show was a bit uneven but stay till the end because the last two dances are among the best.

Get there early for good seating. It was packed, literally standing room only! This was my second trip to Bali, and this was one of the things I really wanted to see again! Their eyes and hands are unreal. So expressive and different! A true...More

The music, the performance, the dance, the costumes, all is enticing! Some people complained about not understanding the story. But the whole plot from start to finish is described in the leaflet you get with the ticket. I read it as the performance was occuring...More
