I don't know.. I was looking forward to visit this rice field but you have to fight your way through local shops and stalls just to get to the rice field. Not sure if it's worth the bother. I went to Belimbing and it was...More

Breath-taking. Good legs-day workout. Worth it to go there to experience the view and climb some steps!

Disappointing with all the shops that have popped up and the swings that are now there for the tourists, search and you will find better rice fields elsewhere.

After finding a working rice field by chance on our first day in Ubud, Tegalalang was quite disappointing. It seems entirely geared towards tourists... and instagram, with many photo points set up- not to mention the swings. If you want a more genuine experience I...More

Yes, this place is touristy as hell with streetside vendors, cafés and "Selfie Swings" all over the place, but if you arrive between 8 and 9 you will have this beautiful place almost to yourself. Yes, you have to give small donations to local people...More

There were some people walking the terraces, but we saw families rice planting elsewhere, along the highway heading north. This is a wonderful picturesque view, but was not as large an area as I expected.

This is THE iconic view, but for many years you got out and watched and took pics, now you must pay, there is no place to park or walk and some houses have been added by the fields on the far side. You MUST see...More

Just the sheer valleys that are being cultivated to rice and the immense amount of labour to create the fields, and the daily exercise to get to them and the layout of the water systems is mind boggling.

Have to see to believe. So pretty. They have swings to use up above the rice fields that offer a great view. Plenty of cafes to eat at with great views. Can walk around the rice terraces but very hilly.

Lush green with the rice paddy's almost ready to be harvested. Golden brown rice paddies with lush green backdrop gave it a enchanting look. This place is for relaxation and for enjoying the beauty that life has to offer. Must Visit.

Yes, from the street but it isn't too spectacular from there. Perhaps you can try Jatiluwih Rice Terraces rather.
