- Glen W1 contributionGreat day out!We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Waterbom. Even though it was a cloudy/rainy day, we weren’t put off and we were able to take advantage of very short queues (if any) and had time for everything we wanted to do. The variety of slides was great and the staff were all helpful, friendly and supportive when we were nervous on the scarier slides! The electronic wristbands to pay for food in the park was a great idea and it was easy to get our unspent money back at the end. Definitely recommended!Visited November 2022Written 9 December 2022
- Eri I6 contributionsA day at Waterbom BaliAmazing day at the waterpark. Kids and adults love it alike. Love the Splash band payment method. And you’ll get your money back at the end of the day with the unspent cash. Friendly staffs and very clean waterpark. Feel very safe as I feel there’s staff everywhere looking after you. Will definitely return again. Good work Waterbom!!Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 18 December 2022
- Bridget M8 contributionsFantastic family day out!We went to Waterbom with our family, including teenagers ages 15 & 17. We all loved it! We found it to be very well organised, had something for everyone, the tropical gardens were amazing and the staff were very helpful. We were able to hire a gazebo on arrival, which was great to have. We really recommend this to do.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2022
- l4dyh4wk6 contributionsGreat Day Out for the FamilyWhile Waterbom can be a pricey excursion, if you plan it well, keep an eye out for specials and pre-book your trip you can make the most of the visit. The actual site is well maintained and beautiful. The rides are safe and fun. My teens really enjoyed their FlowRider session. You must absolutely book yourself a gazebo as a home base for your day of adventure. You can usually pick one up from the locker desk when you arrive, it is not necessary to pre-book one, but be aware that you use the money on your 'splash band' to pay for it, so allow for the cost when you top it upVisited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2022
- sgrant7048 contributionsA great day out: fun, affordable and safe! This was a great day. There were so many rides, and as it was a weekday, the lines were not long. Had three families attend, with teenagers from 14 to 19 years old. The staff were very helpful and there was a HUGE range of dining options, at VERY reasonable prices (Australian parks, take note). Can book online.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 25 December 2022
- xianyongSingapore, Singapore19 contributionsWe had a blast!Overall, even though the entry to the theme park felt slightly pricey, we had a great time. Slides felt safe, yet thrilling enough to give us adrenaline rush. Ample places for food breaks, even though the prices are marked up. Locker was easy to use. It's one of the better water parks I've visited.Visited December 2022Written 1 January 2023
- Erin F4 contributionsExcellent as alwaysThis place is a fantastic waterpark. The gardens are lovely and make slides blend in. The staff are helpful and reassuring. The money on the band is very convenient. We got a cabana (lazy river area) .. worth it we think as a place to meet, chill and eat. I found booking cabana on-line a bit confusing but used the contact us person and they sorted out for me. We don't bother with hire towels or lockers. Food and drinks reasonably priced and overall pretty tasty. In saying that I got Ayam Bakar and it was a let down - not close to authentic - lacked flavor/ bbq and Indo salad .. only negative for day ...Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 3 January 2023

- Caroline LMelbourne, Australia27 contributionsWell worth itThis one can't be missed when visiting Bali. There is something for everyone. Water slides, lazy river, pools, massage and food. We arrived when it opened and stayed all day. I had booked a Kabana when buying tickets online. This was a must as it gave us a home base for the day if anyone got lost or just needed to rest for a while. We ordered lunch and they delivered it to the Kabana at the arranged time. We paid for the photos at the end - also well worth it.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 4 January 2023

We had an absolute blast here!!!
Park was clean, staff were so sweet, fun and helpful, food was decent too. We got in early on a Tuesday so we barely waited 5-10mins for the popular slides. Highly recommend the boomerang slide, it’ll blow your mind!

This is a beautiful, well kept water park, with lots of fun rides, pools and a lazy river. There are loungers everywhere, and plenty of shade, and the gazebos are very reasonable for added luxury. Lots of choice of food too. It was great value for money and lots of fun. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend for a great fun day out.

Very clean and amazing staff. Great rides. I'd you're looking to spend the day going on different rides, don't expect to spend the full day. If there aren't horrible lines, you can finish then all (12 or 14) in about 2 hours.

If you have kids, then you can't miss Waterbom. Filled with rides, there's something for all ages. Wide variety of food options, though slightly more expensive than outside. We tried pizza, fries, milkshakes and bintang...all yum! Must try the lazy river! We booked a cabana, but since we spent 90% time in water or at rides, it was not value for money. They give lockers and towels for just a few bucks, so better to use those facilities than carry. Staff are very helpful. Overall a day well spent with my water crazy 9 year old. Definitely recommend!

Had a great day at Waterbom.
Spent a lot of time in the lazy river floating around - the gardens and surroundings are so beautiful.
Went on a few slides, lines moved quickly and all staff were very friendly.
The new oasis garden and pool are a lovely addition, had a mocktail at the swim up bar which was very yummy.
Had lunch of pizza and chips and my daughter loved the pizza.
Can’t wait to go back.

This was my second visit, my first was great, this was anything but.
I went to go on a couple of the more extreme rides and I had a metal button so was told I couldn’t ride two of the rides due to this. The option was to turn it inside out, they said you can do this here, I explained I just had swim shorts so could not unless I’d be done for indecent exposure which wasn’t going to happen, they said I could go right back to the changing rooms and change to their swim shorts - which I declined as it was a hassle, in fairness after discussions they refunded 25% of the price, but this could’ve been highlighted or mentioned somewhere prior to entering.
I was annoyed at this point as 2 of the best rides were out then I tried to ride the Python and another ride I can’t recall and the staff said I could not as I was as a solo guest under the 100kg required, which is an identical ride to many other parks in other countries, so failed to see why I couldn’t just join other guests in the “raft” but was flatly told no so 4 of the best rides I couldn’t use.
I then went to order lunch and had a wait but the price was debited yet my wristband wasn’t feeding through to the kitchen, a lot of wrangling and explaining the exact situations to each and every staff, at least 4 times and I at this point just wanted out of the park, at almost 1pm having planned to stay until 5/6pm but it was a comedy of errors and highly frustrating.
Then when I tried to get changed the key band wouldn’t work so that was something else to mess around with and change.
All in all a complete mess and maybe I got unlucky with things compounding but the level of communication is appalling and the staff need to be trained to allow solo travelers to be able to use the multi user rides, as management explained could be allowed but wasn’t relayed properly.
So I left with a bitter taste and sadly after the first really enjoyable visit, this was a day to forget and to never return to Waterbom, there’s better activities in Bali and the rides aren’t that exciting now.

Hi Alec,
Thanks for the feedback and we are sorry to hear your second visit seemed to have a few issues! Our team work hard to make sure you have a great day in the park, and sometimes (on rare occasions) things happen, eg, splashbands don’t work, or locker bands have a glitch, sounds like a few things compounded for you in one day though as you said!
Regarding the metal detail on the swimwear or shorts, we understand that it seems annoying, but it ensures our slides don’t get scratched and in turn leave scratches on our guests. And it is actually communicated in our e-tickets, our website and at the lobby area on our video screens, so we will see where else we can put it so you and others are aware in advance next time.
We definitely can cater to solo travelers/ riders, there are lots of rides in the park you can tackle alone, the ones you can’t like Python for example are purely because without the optimal weight in the tube you won’t make it through the slide and will get stuck halfway. Safety first!
All in all, we hope we can entice you back for a 3rd visit to experience a better day, but we have taken your feedback on board and will discuss with our team for improvements. Thank you!

Is it possible to only purchase entry tickets to the park?
My wife and I are pensioners and would not participate in any of the rides.
We would really like to see the park though
Please advise

Hello Waterbom team :)
My partner and I would like to stop and visit you on our way from Canggu to Uluwatu, do you have storage facilities for 2 suitcases as we would need to bring them with us.
Thanks!
Yes they have... Of course, with fees... But be careful you can only open the box once... If you use this one time, you will not be able to open the box unless you pay an additional fee..

As Andrew said, I don't recall anyone going down slides with any type of footware on. At the top of a couple of slides a few unfortunate people had to leave their stuff and walk back up to get it afterwards. There are heaps of lockers scattered around the park and they are pretty cheap to hire.

I need to wear some kind of foot covering at water parks due to sensory/medical issues, but I still want to ride the slides. Waterbom has stated that I can wear “cotton swimming socks” but not aqua shoes, which is totally reasonable except I can’t seem to find cotton swimming socks available anywhere online! Is this something I can purchase on site at Waterbom?

No they don’t.
I was wondering if I order tickets for five people online (on waterbom Bali’s side) and also order in-order credit, do I get only one wristband for payment or do I get one for each ticket?
Me and my family are going there and we will not spend all the time there together, so was wondering if we could get two or possibly more wristband from the same account:)

Ordered the tickets online for our family of 6.
Then bought the credit and wrist band, towels and locker when we got there.
The staff are amazing.
Didn’t encounter quests but we arrived 2-3pm

Will I be allowed to wear water/aqua shoes on the rides? I have sensory issues and don't want to be barefoot...
WaterbomBali
Kuta, Indonesia
hi there! thanks for asking about the aqua shoes, unfortunately we can't let you wear them on the slides, as they will slow you down and cause potential safety issues or can stop you mid sliding. You are able to wear cotton swimming socks on the tube slides, but no socks or water shoes on any of the body slides. Hope that helps!
Do they weigh you at Waterbom, I weigh around 120kg and don’t want to be embarrassed. I have seen the restrictions which I fit into, but want to be sure.

No they don't weigh you...
There's only height board for little kids to measure at least 1m for some rides..

How much time should we allocate for waterbom? Thank you
To enjoy the day and make the most of the park I would suggest the whole day but at least 6 hrs. There are so many slides to ride and other things to do and depending on which day you go and how busy it is there are wait times for each ride.

Hi, I'd like a current recommendation on whether it is better to visit Waterbom on a weekend (e.g. Sunday) or weekday (e.g. Monday or Tuesday). We are visiting in September.
The 'typical' logic is that the water park will be less busy on a weekday and more crowded during the weekend; When I read reviews on google and tripadvisor, I also see most people saying it was not too crowded on a weekday. However, on waterbom's website and customer service, they recommend the opposite, i.e. that Monday is busier than Sunday.
Does anyone have recent experience and can share with us? :) We really don't want to spend a long time queueing for rides.
LuluSEQueensland
Sunshine Coast, Australia106 contributions
Yes we read that Monday can be busy but we didn't find it too busy when we went. Get there early if you want to get a gazebo and go straight to the back of the park and do the really popular rides first before the crowds arrive. We have been several times and it is never as busy as water parks in Australia.
