This is at a major intersection so it is hard to miss if traveling the bypass. It is spectacular and quintessentially Balinese.

This monument is spectacular and flamboyant and there is little that I can add to my previous review. Maybe the danger has increased if you wish to make a daredevil dash across the busy road to get a closer look. Last time we were able...More

This statue is one of of many around the Island of Bali and you can not help but stare in awe at the sheer size and detail. Each one tells a story so make sure you ask a Balinese to tell you .

A group of statues (only the one at the center is "fairly sizeable" though which is surrounded by small ones mainly those of monkeys, some lifting rocks & such) is what to find at this roundabout (actually a "triangular-shaped" roundabout) about 3 kilometers north of...More

This was a really huge impressive statue arrangement in a traffic circle. It's too bad you can only admire it from the opposite side of the road. My driver only stopped if I promised to be quick with photos. Nice unexpected surprise to end our...More

This monument blew me away. I couldn't believe something so grand and terrific was simply at a traffic circle and not in a museum. We were driving past and as we approached I was stunned. This statue depicts a part of one of Hinduism's most...More
