Words and languages become useless in Ellora. The sheer splendour and grandeur cannot be described in words, and I won't even try. Located a few kilometres ahead of the invincible Daulatabad fort, the caves are easily accessible by public transport.

If you have the chance, visit these caves. Go in flat shoes and be prepared to walk. Take bottled water with you. It is an amazing site. Plan to be here for a full day - there are so many mesmerizing carvings.

We paid ₹700, only for the main cave which is called Kailash cave. Always go for the licensed guides, they will be available near the ticket counter. Mr. Ali was the guide for us, he is a very nice gentleman.
