Words and languages become useless in Ellora. The sheer splendour and grandeur cannot be described in words, and I won't even try. Located a few kilometres ahead of the invincible Daulatabad fort, the caves are easily accessible by public transport.

worth a visit for all. the hindu cave having Shiva temple is the best. for jain caves you have to take a bus which are about 1.5 km away. it costs Rs 20 pp for return trip. buddhist caves are walking distance from Hindu caves

If you have the chance, visit these caves. Go in flat shoes and be prepared to walk. Take bottled water with you. It is an amazing site. Plan to be here for a full day - there are so many mesmerizing carvings.

Even mobile phones there is an option to switch off the flash as when necessary

We paid ₹700, only for the main cave which is called Kailash cave. Always go for the licensed guides, they will be available near the ticket counter. Mr. Ali was the guide for us, he is a very nice gentleman.
