This church is very simple- not much ornate or beautiful to see. The historical aspects of it are cool though- the burial place of Vasco da Gama before his body was moved to Portugal. If you have a few minutes in the Fort Kochi area,...More

It's a nice place to visit and has a gravestone of vasco da gama. The remains of Vasco da gama were buried here and around 14 years later they were moved to Lisbon.

Visited Church of Saint Francis with group of colleagues. One of the oldest church, it houses Vasco de Gama's grave. Only attraction is its historic legacy, otherwise nothing special.

Although this is probably the oldest European church in India it is not really that interesting. Having visited many churches over the years in many countries it left me unimpressed.

I went along with my family to this church. The church was very old, majestic and also peaceful inside it.

This church was first built in 1503. It is said to be the oldest European church in India. The famous explorer, Vasco da Gama was originally buried here. Interesting and worth a visit.
