Yana is a village located in forests of the Kumta, Utttara Kannada district of Karnataka, which is known for the unusual karst rock formations.A shivaling is worshipped inside the Yana caves (naturally formed).long walk to reach this place.

It is an amazing place to visit You need walk barefoot to go inside the cave Need to walk at-least a mile from the parking area Shops are available only for snacks.. Enjoy the rock view!

Drove from Satwick Home stay, Devanalli, Sirsi. Abt 17km. Went first to Vibhuti falls that is another 10km from Yana. Waterfall is cute. Has a short 600m climb and clean cool water with lots of fish that will give u a pedicure for free. Frm...More

One of the beautiful places in U.Kannada, well maintained roads. The vehicles need to be parked 500-700 mtr away from rocks. A quality forest, complete shaded road. The facility by tourism dept is Mind-blowing.

Beautiful place...used to be a great trekking place but now it’s kinda easy to get there. Just 1.5 km from the parking place. There are shops near the temple where you can get lot of snacks and beverages. So no need to carry food. Beautiful...More

It is possible to see Yana in one day rather half day. But not sure of lodges nearby. Sagar is nearest city where you get hotels.
