The area is huge, and the shops sell more or less the same things. It is a place for bargaining and good purchases. In the hot time nothing is opened until the evening, but then you have a vast choice.

Lots of stores , good prices ... perfect place to buy herbs , natural oils and souvenirs . Wished I could have had lunch in Almasreen Restaurant, it looked very good though .

Old market one the best place to visit.. U can buy many thing there and good price but sure u must discuss price ,also many places to eat and drink . A place must visit

i was so anxious to go there for shopping but then i found out that i was ripped off,they are just so cunning and ripp you off sooo easily. the prices soooo high and big cheaters.prices in soho square and naam bay were much cheaper.

It’s a nice place to visit if you want to check a little bit more authentic souk (market) that the one at Naama Bay. Not much souvenirs to buy though and the prices are the same as Naama Bay with the same pushy shop owners...More

That was like in movies. You walk between small shops, coffeeshops. Local songs heard from far away. Armed police officers keep their watches. This is atmosphere of East!
