Another papyrus museum where you can listen to the explanation of the working of the papyrus. They have acceptable prices, maybe lower than some others. If you are good to bargaring, you will be able to take home some beautiful scrolls at a great price.

A very interesting demo. on how Papyrus is made, and how to tell a genuine papyrus from banana skin. There are lots to buy, but the quality here is much better than outside.

Fascinating to see how the papyrus is made. The art work is beautiful, however, they started of with the most expensive prices which was a bit off putting. Start lower and if customers want to spend more they will.

Been to one, been to them all really. It's not really a museum its a papyrus shop with the standard this is how it's made demo and chat. Same as everywhere else they'll bang on about how everyone else sells fake, apparently that's not true....More

Bought some beautiful papyrus paintings in the air con which is a win for me in egypt! The demonstration on they make the papyrus was interesting, worth a visit for the souvenir as they were pretty cheap.

If you have not time enough to visit national Museum in Cairo there is a good place to see traditional Egyptian arts also the process of papyrus production also to drink nice karkade tea and to buy souvenirs and papyrus.

This is not a Museum it is a gift shop selling Papyrus picture's of all thing's Egyptian, well worth a visit if you want this type of souvenier of your holiday. If you are interested the owner/staff will demonstrate how Papyrus is made.

Good museum but more like a souvenier shop. The staff were helpful but more like salesmen. They did give us a good price on the items we bought.
