For believers it's a place to visite. It takes only a couple of hours to do so. 34 years ago it was my first time there. What a change, you don't visit the same areas!

The monastery is very impressive with a chuch filled with frescoes and incense jars. You can see the maybe authentic burning bush and Moses’ well, where he is said to have met his wife. You also hear the myth of Saint Catherine

If you want to go up to Mt. Sinai, there is a hotel very close there, think the hotel's name was Morgenland. You can go to the monastery the next day and you no longer need to stay overnight there. You can go to your next... More
