The monastery is very impressive with a chuch filled with frescoes and incense jars. You can see the maybe authentic burning bush and Moses’ well, where he is said to have met his wife. You also hear the myth of Saint Catherine

one of the best places or activities to watch the sunset or sunrise .. The museum is really well thought out too and def worth a visit. Enjoyed the gardens and the whole atmosphere.

Where else in the world can you see such ancient beauty... Truly a moving experience. The museum is really well thought out too and def worth a visit. Enjoyed the gardens and the whole atmosphere.

Yes, it is open and very safe. Climbing Mt Sinai is the biggest thing to do there. It doesn't take long to see what you are allowed to see in the monastery. You cannot see much of what is inside the monastery, so it... More
