Hi, I was hear in January with my girlfriend staying in Hugharda, we visited the Marina during the day and there was not much going on but was still nice but would be better during the evening. You have to go through a security gate on enrtry and bags are searched by armed guards, we did take a walk outside but it was a really run down area and felt a little bit uneasy as there seemed to be no other tourists outside and to be honest if there was a hotel i personally would not stay there. We took a taxi from Our Hotel in Hugharda with a couple we met and this was really inexpensive at around £8 each way.
Hope this info is of help to you and enjoy Egypt when you go! This was my fifth time and will be going again in November.
Take care, Tommy....
