A big, beautiful church, very well maintained. We visited it as part of a Hurghada town trip.Anyway, not something out of common for a christian,it seemed like any other church in Europe. You don't need more than 10 minutes to see it.Armed guards at the entry.

We visited this after we had been to the Souk nearby, lovely inside, peaceful away from the bustle of Dahar.

We had a guide with us and she told us quite a lot about the church and the coptic culture, so our visit was very interesting. But if you don't have a guide I don't think you will find it that impressive.

I visited the cathedral while on a tour of the old city, Well worth a visit as it is nothing like a cathedral in the UK.

This was quite an interesting cathederal and well worth a visit to see how other religions are respected in Hurghada.

It was good to see such a lovely Christian building in a Moslem country. Long may they continue to live in peace.
