Reading through the previous negative reviews it is obvious those folks didn’t climb to the top of the lighthouse. It’s worth the trip! 228 steps to the top for $8 and you are rewarded with a beautiful view of Atlantic City and the ocean, a...More

I would disagree with one of the other trip advisor writer. Almost all lighthouses have interesting stories and history. So far I haven’t found one that doesn’t. This lighthouse has gone through so many changes it’s amazing it’s still there. The paint scheme has been...More

You can see it from the road and it’s just an ordinary lighthouse. There is nothing interesting about it.

Atlantic city has rich history that's often overlooked. A trip to the lighthouse will put things in a proper prospective. It's a must see when in the area. It's eight dollars with free parking. What a view of the city; each flight offers a different...More

Great experience for young and old. Only problem if you can't do the steps you don't get to the top and witness the beautiful views.

Yes, there is a charge if you want to go to the "top" and do a viewing of the area. Plus the volunteer who is up there, gives you a great story about the area and the lighthouse itself. Cost was $7.
