It’s a french castle in the middle of Medellin. The architecture is the same of the castles of Loire valley in France. The gardens are beautiful where you can have a pic-nic. You can buy the pic-nic menu in the coffee shop. The museum tour...More

Interesting sort of private and underground story behind this place. You will be stunned by the gardens and vegetation. Inside the mansion you will go through some interesting antiques, but what is truly magnificent is the story behind the whole thing. Not what I was...More

Visiting the gardens and listening to instrumental music, guided tour in Spanish in the house with plenty of collected things such as porcelains, pieces of art, books and more for only 12000 COP - amazing 😉 (especially after visiting before this attraction the house/museum of...More

Incredible views of the town from the gardens. We did the interior tour as well which was Spanish only but still worth it. About 45 min long.

Superb little mock chateau and gardens in the middle of the city. Highly maintained gardens surround the building. The "castle" itself looks a little concrety from the outside but the inside is a quirky gem, made poignant by the tragic story of its inhabitants.

Great place to relax...just up the road from Santa Fe shopping mall. Not a big fan of the doll museum there but the grounds are nice...quiet and simple worth a couple hours to relax. There is a small coffee place to buy a snack.

El Castillo is a beautiful former home converted into a museum. The gardens are well maintained and make for the perfect picnic position. The castle itself is charming and displays the furnishings of this former home. There are hourly tours but if you don't speak...More

You are writing to the wrong person. I never wrote such a comment in my review- "egregious proofs of old money in the hands of those who never had to work for" . I do not hold such views either.
