It's a nice little square with more locals than the more popular with tourist places (Tower of the Reloj, Santo Domingo, etc.). It's especially lively at night when the local restaurants extend to the park.

Nothing particularly special to commend this plaza more than the many others inside the walled city. Includes the usual array of vendors, spectators, bars and restaurants. Perfectly fine but not particularly special.

There is a Chocolate shop and museum along one side of this plaza. They give tours and let you make your own chocolates with different ingredients. It is a wonderful place with excellent staff and delicious chocolate.

So many squares and lots of statures abound. We found this one and were looking for a restaurant, but had to back track to find one that looked worthwhile.

This plaza has shops, restaurants, and cigar bars around it. Lots of vendors and horse drawn carriages. Quieter than some other plazas.

Another beautiful small square/park in Old Cartagena with a touch of local life, with trees, benches and welcome shade. In the middle of the square you find the statue of José Fernandez de Madrid, famous political leader of the independence war against the Spanish colonial...More

Lovely place with tables outside on the square with live music and nice atmosphere. Coconut chicken was absolutely amazing!! It’s quite pricey but after the food I need to say it was worth it...

The white house with the beautiful balcony beside the blue house inspired Fermina Daza's house and where she would teach her aunt and Florentino would watch her from this park.

This is a great place to have a dinner after sundown. Restaurants put tables in the plaza itself and there is usually live music.

We ate outside in the square but there were also tables inside both up and down. The square was fun to watch people. There were a lot of vendors but they were not annoying. They are kind people scraping buy to make a living. Respect...More
