This is a nice place with an impressive statue of the Pope, a little square with plenty of shops and vendors.

This area always seems empty to us when we pass but it. A few vendors selling trinkets to tourists. But that’s it.

There wasn't much to see at this plaza except a statue of the pope. If you like shopping some vendors sell their wares here. The church next to it is very pretty and worth stopping in to see. For more info and pics visit etbtravelphotography

Lest you forget the ancient legacy of the Jesuits, here's the place announcements were made to put to death thousands who were accused of witchcraft or -- gasp -- heresy. Makes you glad you live in modern times. The buildings are ironically beautiful and significant.

This is one of a number of interesting squares in Cartegena and the building , like many was under renivation when there. You do get a feel for the old Spanish beuaty of the place despite the cnstruction.

A very interesting Plaza with lots of historic significance. Our tour guide was very informative however, it was at the end of our tour and most were too tried and hot to appreciate.

Compared to the rest of Cartagena I found this area less inspiring than others and less interesting than most others. If pushed for time can be missed.
