The parque is very nice and central, but it is a bit dirty. During the night the parque is closed to the public.

It is a big park, surrounded by a fence and has a lot to see. They have monkeys, sloths and squirrels and they cavort in the trees. It is between Getsemani and the Walled City. Open air gazebo is nice.

We visited Cartagena on a Sunday and noticed that there was a market in el Parque del Centenario . We were told that normally it is possible to see monkeys and iguanas but because of the attendance on a Sunday morning , the animals would...More

The park itself has seen better days. It used to be something special for sure, but now it looks very tired and need of a gardener and for the grass to be watered at least. It was clearly a bit of a local hang out...More

I walked through and first did not see anything but then, close to the pavillion, they were jumping through the trees. Small monkeys. Very cute. I didn't see any sloth. There are some people with paper cups in hands sitting to show you the monkeys...More

It's a nice park but more for locals than tourists. It seemed a little seedy so be on your guard. The skating oval was fun. A local time was running sprint challenges.
